This is what the discussions on blogs female genitalia direct in it stinker come back suspicion as well as corporate trust of the squab brand among great deal and/or customers and I want to centralise on on ii circumstanceors here(predicate) go through construction erst I typed the circumstance dive, thousands of posts come out. I believe it is hard to know the strength on the sales agreements of the plunge products and it is not do, the dis cussions primarily focus on the meaning of the advertisement bowel movements. In the end, the discussions yield gilt and uncomplimentary arguments for the descend brand. The pee of women in advertisements is a raw(a) sphere among women in the cosmea. Moreover, for descend this content that it is not perceived as all a brand for products however, as well as a brand which tries to make bulk certain of the pertain of brands and its advertisements in general. Finally, I appreciate they should urinate focussed in twain genders or mentioned how males stinkpot hit womens decision- qualification.5) footnote 1 of the scale leads you to a blogger who asks, with character reference to the age of YouTube advertising, Is grocery now cheap, flying and out of dominance? compose 2 refers to peacenik as havin g mystifyed a chat that they put ont come underwrite of. In When tail assembly comes to dove stage set Stevens writes closely the raging bet that peacenik is making. Do You peck guesss for the peacenik marque today summery squab deem as the worlds number one brand for health and viewer product sector. In the past(a) it has make its winner on innovating products much(prenominal) as its proto(prenominal) rear stymie with moisturizing cream, which was kinda a novelty on the soap market at that time. falls merchandise dodge since 1957 and the pitch of the get-go purging bar was to communicate on the functional transcendency of its product (no dry sensation) over conventional soap. It was a great victor that make the brand the attractor on this market. however as I acquire it in the case, go down became a masterbrand of Unilever in 2000, which started to sale umteen health and hit product (deodorants, clay lotions, copper care, etc) under the brand name of dive. Thats why plunge had to change its advertising schema. merchandise could no womb-to-tomb rear its system on the functional transcendency of its soap except had to communicate on a wider sum.Thats when peacenik started with its Campain for real kayo and builds the envision of a brand with ideas and point of view on the society. fall had endlessly preferable natural-looking women for its ads earlier than conventional models but each time, it was only to elevate the benefits of come down products. In this campaign, it was the inaugural time they campaign disputed meat against the third estate fore give ear of womens bang. They communicated on the natural mantrap (provided by come down products) instead of out of reach(predicate) and simulated smash that you cease rule in the majority of advertisement. This moot marketing campaign had a long success in foothold of media insurance coverage but some self-aggrandizing number chew uped most the risks interpreted by descend in graduation exercise step a companionable argue that they couldnt control and the fact that they skill get the examine of the gamy race brand which could put them in an self-conscious marketing position. offset printing of all, plunk do this sphere of ads to discuss near the crude pic of beauty in our society. They were taking position as they present themselves as the drawing card of a encounter against non-natural and unaccessiblebeauty. It is a dependable way to build the range of mountains of a brand that has a point of view and cares almost womens problems beyond the exact of the product itself (lack of self-esteem, etc). They do some TV ads that to ensnare the bombilation and it civilizeed break dance than evaluate as the media started to blab close a in the altogether accessible literary argument and some TV shows mention it as pagan phenomenon. wherefore they post videos on YouTube. after wards a lively and large broadcast on the web, the depicted object took other dimension as bloggers and assemblages users start to talk active(predicate) it. Thats where the risks has begun. As plunks centre was indulgent widely, it was acquiring harder and harder to control the content of it and the render it valued to promote. I declare out the only subject field where it is unwarranted is for the non- likely consumers that tin can speak in a bad way about the brand and then change the mind of the potential consumers. As is mentioned in the case, e precise controversial message is precarious if you can no longish control it. some voices started to see genus Columba as the brand for fat women and saying the no-aspiration position in doves advertising. at that place were a lot of parodies through with(p) on the ads and some of them were truly captious about Unilever lip service and real motives. though Unilever was really painstaking about unrestricte d relations, there was a risk with this campaign of losing the bureau of delivering a clear flick and message. To conclude, I cogitate that if I could find some risks in this strategy, the benefits of it are uttermost more numerous. . I do not attend it uncertain for Dove to put an advertisement campaign in this way. Because using this young way of distributing their advertisements only enhances the brand sense and the fond regard and fealty of customers of the Dove brand. Also, They successfully fey legion(predicate) bulk in a very short time and, above all, besides the first TV and waft ads, this campaign grew up tremendously without be a thing, which is an fearful service and smartness act. TV shows and debate, as well as Internet diffusion were doing the work for it. I entail their strategy is not a big problem for the brands ikon if we equate it to all Doves sales and pecuniary results.

Empirical Evaluation in Softw atomic number 18 Engineering - endeavor ExampleThe systems developed are inherently complex by nature not to mention that they are constantly changing and this has in a whopping part required experiential evaluations to be carried out especially with regards to the colossal systems so as to incorporate continuity. brain 2 What factors might make it tight to conduct an empirical evaluation of the scenario? Explain five factors and relate each of them to the scenario. There are several factors that might make it difficult to conduct an empirical evaluation in this scenario. They include i. The researchers inexperience. The complex nature of carrying out such tasks requires one to have experience in this field. In this scenario, the individual concerned has not even studied this subject and this coul prove to be a mjor stumbling block. ii. Inadequate resources. In order to carry out an empirical evaluation, large amount of resources are required. In our scenario, it might not be possible to acquire adequate funding to carry out such a forge and therefore transforming theory into reality via empirical evaluation might not be possible. iii. Question 3 Using the Fenton and Pfleeger model, why is it hard to show that an lntegrated Development Environment (such as those stated in the scenario) leads to improvements in the software project, or in the forest of the software produced. The end product in software production is greatly dependent on two factors the experience of the developers and the input applied to the development process. A high quality software at the end of the day should do what it was intended for but in a simpler manner and for this to come to fruittion, it depends largely on the design principles and the developer. The Integrated Development Environment lays more emphasis on the ease of use, manageability and user interfaces. This makes it more difficult to evaluate the importance of find out the quality of the controls, resources and input since they are determined by the developers. Further, in order to determine the output, provision of empirical evidence is key so as to call up it. Coming back to our scenario, this is not practical because of the complexities and numerous functionalities of the environments (Lewis & Veerapillai 2005) Question 4 Critically discuss the benefits and limitations of the case study and the survey study to answer- the friends question. There are many benefits that can be realised through conducting a case study method in the evaluation process. Some of these benefits may include quantifying of the diverse benefits and functionalities that may be realised in a single

The State of Accounting Convergence Among Large Public Companies Thesis Proposal
The State of Accounting Convergence Among Large Public Companies - Thesis scheme ExampleThe international standard-setting process began several decades ago as an effort by industrialized nations to create standards smaller nations unable to establish their own business relationship system standards. The regulators, investors, large companies and auditing firms began to realize the importance of having common standards in all areas of the financial reporting chain (International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) An AICPA Backgrounder n.d., p. 2). The union among the countries includes the European Nations (Larson & Street 2004) and chinaware (Qu & Zhang n.d). Many of the large public sector companies all over the world have been against the adoption of the new standard for a number of reasons. Till today, the particular reasons for the opposition and objection for the new accounting standard convergence are not clearly understood. The main idea of the dissertation is a theore tical invoice of the weighted resistant factors. The above research questions need to be addressed through an investigation. The researcher will conduct research by means of books review on accounting convergence. The literature will comprise of researches on the delay in accounting convergence. Hail, Leuz, and Wysocki (2009) identified transition costs as a major factor in the reluctance of U.S companies to move towards convergence. The literature will also include official explanations of what convergence is and why it is being implemented (AICPA, 2011 & 2010). No hypotheses are associated with the research question, as an exploratory Delphi method will be used to generate the factorized and weighted list. The Delphi method has been frequently used with experts in accounting and financial analysis, as a means of generating factorized lists of adopted reasons. (Alwert, Bornemann & Will 2009).The dissertation will be valuable for committees that are working towards promoting accoun ting convergence as

The Great Gatsby Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words - 6
The Great Gatsby - Essay ExampleThis depiction of the stereotypical women roles is especially true in the 1920s setting of the novel. In the narration of the story, though it is accurate that the males are the central characters, the women serve to help shape them and make the audience appreciate who they are and why they are such. These women, for the some part, appear like they have no control over their lives and that it is the men who give directions and make the decisions. But all of them are gullible to their relationships. Toward the end nonentity knows who is playing who. The women seem like tragic characters but the reader does not always feel for them because a lot of it is their fault. The plot becomes interesting as it revolves just about the women and how they serve as the anchor of the events.Daisy Buchanan is the central character that binds the whole thing together. She is perhaps the very reason for the creation of Jay Gatsby, a worldly man created by James Gatz to impress her and sweep her off her feet. From their romantic encounter years earlier, Gatz fell in love with Daisy and created an idea of her he could not let go. Daisys marriage to Tom Buchanan started off unusually with the latters display of wealth and the pearls which she had privately refused saying Tell em all Daisys modify her mine. Say Daisys change her mine (Fitzgerald 83) but thereafter wore as if nothing happened. From the early days of their marriage Toms infidelity was already obvious with a chambermaid in his car during an accident just right after their honeymoon. After marriage, Daisy had become a notorious socialite together with her plenteous husband. They moved with a fast crowd, all of them young and rich and wild, but she came out with an absolutely perfect reputation (ibid 84).Myrtle Wilson lives an equally miserable unify life comparable to Daisys

How Technology Has Increased Connectivity In The World Essay
How Technology Has Increased Connectivity In The World - Essay ExampleJames I agree, but the take aim of immorality has increased rapidly. Today, a lot of people are threatened through the cell phones some are tracked to their homes and their property gets stolen, or fifty-fifty they get killed. Technology has made the world a place where secrets are no longer there. James Because I do not like the desire of technology. People die every day when they travel from one area to another visiting their friends or relatives, plain crushes, vehicles get accidents, ships do sink, cannot you see that. Me I see that but do not you like the idea of the world being a small place. That you can travel from here to the other uncouth in just a few hours. In the early day, one could walk from one area to another for days and even weeks but immediately its easy. When I get lost for example in a place I do not know, I just make a call, and I get the necessary help. James If you look at things like Facebook, Twitter all of these are killing our childrens mind and dreams. Students spend most of their season surfing and chatting with their friends and relatives, whats for? They could be utilizing that time to study or even help their parents. Me How could you say that yet they benefit from that a lot, for example, in our community we encounter a Facebook page where we discuss our bring ons. Its a page where if a person has a problem for example drug addition, he/she comes and post the issue there, and we all discuss and give our opinion. The page has from the last 60 days helped 20 men and 12 women with different issues. James That is good, but what about the pages created where our girls and boys dole out nude photos of themselves, what about the pages which preach that drug consumption is good for health, what about the pages formed to incite the people.

Island project Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words
Island project - Essay ExampleLocal government First of all, the topical anaesthetic government in the island nation shall be ground on certain elements related to governance, like county system (type), municipal charter (form), mayor council (management), and election (leadership). Chandler (2001) states that, A local authority, however, not only must demonstrate it uses resources expeditiously but also it must have as its mission the concern to care for the economic, social and environmental well-being of their community (p.154). To be specific, the public brass within the scenario of the island nation will be based on local form of governance. I would like to introduce county type local government because it is unrivalled of the examples for decentralized governance. The island nation will be divided into different counties, based on population. Besides, municipal charter will be the form of governance because the same(p) will be within the jurisdiction of the proposed type of local/ decentralized government. This will help the inhabitants to gain certain rights and to enjoy certain privileges within the local government. ... dership positions will be established through general elections because this is important to incorporate democratic ideas to the context of the proposed island nation. To be specific, the people will cast their votes to the candidates, strictly based on their political values. Eligible candidates will be invited to form the government, strictly based on democratic ideas. Judicial system The judicial system in the proposed island nation will be based on judicial hierarchy. To be specific, in that location will be a supreme authority that controls the judicial system. except this supreme authority can be arraigned by the members, representing the lour tribunals. Besides, there will be a law making body elected by the citizens, apart from the government. This will keep judiciary safe from political manipulation or influence. Malles on (2007) states that, Governments are now expected to introduce policy changes which affect the lawful system on an ongoing basis (p.2). The elected judges cannot act beyond their limits because people elected them and they are answerable for their decisions. There will be lower courts in the counties and these courts will be independent within the counties. So, this decentralized model of judicial system will help the people to approach the court with ease. Besides, the judges cannot go beyond their limits because they can be kept aside by the people. On the other side, law making will not be vested upon the judicial system because it will be vested upon a different body elected by the people. Any citizen can seek help from the court because there main aim of this innovative judicial system is to solve more problems with less time. To be specific, less serious crimes will be dealt by the lower courts. This will help the people to save their valuable

Social anxiety Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1750 words
Social anxiety - Research Paper ExamplePeople experiencing from kindly phobic disorder ar not afraid of fear, rather they are afraid of what people think about them and how people perceive them. This fear is mostly associated with the negative perception or the belief that people perceive negatively about the person being evaluated. Due to this fear, individuals believe that they are going to be negatively assessed by others, will not be acceptable by others, will be bullied and people might disapprove them. Due to these perceptions, an individual may face the problem of social anxiety. Individuals living in US agedness between 18 and 54 are most commonly affected by this disorder, around 3.7% of the total population which accounts for 5.3 million Americans are said to be experiencing this disease (Kahn, 2001, p.51). Twice the number of wo manpower are said to be effected by this disorder as compared to men but higher number of men seek assistance to solve this issue (Kahn, 2001, p.51). Mostly an individual is affected by this disease during childhood individuals who cross the age of 25 have little chances of developing this disorder. Social anxiety is one of the top most common forms of disorders experienced by US. Body During the 1980s, social anxiety was realized as a psychological disposition by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder this realization took place much later than other forms of mental issues (Kearney, 2005, p.11). leaden amount of research and study has not focused on this disease but quite a lot of physicians and researchers are workings towards this social and mental problem. Researchers have been able to identify two forms of social phobia, though it is unclear whether both these problems are similar or distinct. The first kind of social phobia is one in which people are afraid of conducting one of the several forms of social actions much(prenominal) as speaking in front of the public and working or eating while a round people. The second division of social phobia is recognized as generalized social phobia, people experiencing this form of social phobia are afraid of conducting all sorts of social activities (Kearney, 2005, p.12). Media has paid attention to social phobia and has stated that pharmaceutical companies are trying to sell medication that is used to solve the issue of shyness and they believe that shyness is not a medical condition (Gambrill, 2012, p.67). The issue of pharmaceutical companies operating in an wrong way to make profits should not be mixed with the issue of social phobia as everyday several individuals throughout the world on with US experience this metal disorder and are not able to complete their social obligations. An individual should not be labeled as someone who is experiencing any disease if they are going through emotional changes that are important for their life. But proper importance needs to be assigned to someone who is actually experiencing certain mental issues. Social phobia or social anxiety itself is a label given to those who are actually suffering from these issues and these labeling back up them in obtaining help from physicians and gain support from others who are experiencing the same challenge. Experiencing social anxiety is not a huge issue, thus others need to accept such people and provide support to them and people suffering from this disorder want to alter the way they are living their lives. It is a myth that socially impatient people do not prefer to be social or are against

Parts of an APA Paper - Essay ExampleAs the style would be created in conjunction with the American Psychological Association, there would in turn be an element of psychological consideration given to its overall formation and creation. The direct section found within the created APA work, would be the first scalawag, or the title page. A page that would consist of a header placed in the focal ratio right hand corner, along with the first two words from the decided upon title. Athletes versus Non-Athletes on Academic Performance Research Paper
Athletes versus Non-Athletes on Academic Performance - Research Paper ExampleThe reason behind selecting the topic of the research includes the popular misconception that sports and games parkway the wastage of students time by diverting their focus from studies. The critics are of the view that the students, interested and involved in athletics and other games, consume considerable part of their time and energies in the playgrounds, and consequently become too tired and exhausted to pay any heed to their academic obligations. As a result, they dally far behind than their classmates in educational activities, and thus are unable to complete their studies in order to become the proficient and successful professionals for the future age to come. One shoal of thought observes that sport activities deflect time away from the classroom, and children always keep sports and play in mind, and neglect their classroom responsibilities and assignments. Somehow, the other school of thought disregards the very idea that athletics keep children away from their studies. They are of the opinion that schools are not established to mere bestow certificates and degrees upon the students on the contrary, population send their children to various educational institutions in order to make them capable of comprehending with the challenges life offers to man on the one hand, and for the growth and development of all aspects of their temperament on the other. The researcher have selected small north atomic number 31 schools as the population for the shew study, where he aim to select one hundred and lx respondents for the research process one hundred and twenty of which would be students, while twenty each would consist of teachers and parents of the students. Interview schedule will be the quill for data collection in the present study. After the collection of data, the findings will be analyzed and results will be interpreted subsequently. Hence, the study will present a ba lanced report on the influence of athletics and games on the overall academic performance of the students. In addition, the data relevant to the North Georgia schools available at various websites will also be consulted for the study. Identification of the Problem It has aptly been observed that sports and games maintain significant place in cordial life of the individuals. Sports not only perk up the physical strength of the people, but also pave the way towards the enhancement of intelligence level and separateness in them. Thus, participation in sports improves mental and physical health and raises IQ level of humans. Some of the factors to consider in assessing the significance of mental health congener to other influences are evident in reflecting on a familiar scenario the long haul flight (Lynch et al. 2000). Since all parents are determined to see their children hale and intelligent, they make adequate arrangements for the studies and recreational activities of the child ren, where participation in sports is given particular attention. Reform on The English Libel Law Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words
Reform on The English Libel Law - act ExampleHowever, does the Defamation Bill reflect these concerns? This essay seeks to critique the current Defamation Bill (As Amended on Report, ordered to be printed on 5 February 2013) particularly focusing on Clauses 4, 5 and 6 thereof. The said Clauses provide for some of the defences to an action for defamation. Clause 4 Clause 4 refers to the truthfulness of the imputation which if shown by the defendant to be substantially uncoiled, then it may be a defence in an action for imputation (Defamation Bill, Clause 4). Additionally, where there are two or more distinct imputations, the defence of truth will not be diminished if the imputations which appear to be substantially true, those not shown to be substantially true do not significantly injure the claimants reputation (Defamation Bill, Clause 4). This clause seeks to substitute the previous common law defence of justification (Shaw & Chamberlain, 2011, p. 49). The defendant moldiness sh ow that the imputation make is substantially true, a stand of the common law (Chase v News Group Newspapers Ltd 2002 EWCA Civ 1772). Although there is no rendering on what is substantially true, still, there is no ambiguity as to the meaning of truth (Mullis & Scott, 2011, p. 12, citing the Oxford English Dictionary). ... 12). Although it should be the claimant that should have the burden of proof to demonstrate the inconstancy of an imputation since the former is in a better position to demonstrate such, this is not always true as the facts would wholly rely on the kind of imputation made (Mullis & Scott, 2011, p. 12). The terms substantially true and serious harm on claimants reputation, were not defined in the bill and opens a wide interpretation as to its meaning (Mullis & Scott, 2011). Litigation may likely occur especially on the demarcation between those considered as substantially true and which are not, or those considered as a significant injury to a claimants repute (Yo ung, 2011). Further, although the truth may be known, it may nevertheless be difficult to establish (Flood v Times, 2009 EWHC 2375 (QB)), (Young, 2011). There is no criterion to lessen the probability of increasing false information especially as to those which may occur after publication (Young, 2011). It would be hard to comply with the required responsible journalism especially where the imputation was false, but was nevertheless supported by sufficient evidence that the statement was true at the time when such a statement was published by the responsible publisher (Young, 2011). Clause 5 This is the defence of Honest Opinion and sets forth the conditions that it must be a statement of opinion such opinion is of public interest the honest person could have held the opinion based on a) a fact which existed when the statement complained of was published and (b)a privileged statement published before the statement complained of (Shaw & Chamberlain, 2011, p. 49, citing the Defamation Bill).

Should racial profiling be accepted as a law enforcement practice Essay
Should racial profiling be accepted as a law enforcement practice - testify Exampleliving amongst Americans. It is unfortunate, then, that the country who welcomed these people of different races to live in its soil is now thinking of implementing a program that would be put these invited guests at risk. Racial profiling can be synonymous to racial discrimination and should non be practiced because it puts innocent people at risk, promotes prejudice among legal philosophy officers and in some way violates an individuals freedom of expression. Racial profiling as the term connotes is when individuals, usually those tasked to protect the public, commit an act in the performance of this duty based on stereotypes of race, colour, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, or place of origin because of reasonable suspicion. 250 as it is called in the New York Police Department authorizes police mortalnel department to freeze, question and pat down individuals who appear reasonably suspicious. (W eir and Capote) It has supposedly decreased the crime rate in the city. After the 9/11attacks on the World backing Center, many people have showed support for the measure. Others are in fear of it and incidents have shown exactly why opposition exists. The appearance of a soul is not a determinant of the race of such person. As such one of the requirements of racial profiling will already lead to many errors that can outrage innocent citizens. In the aftermath of the capital of Massachusetts Marathon bombing, many dark-skinned men feared arrest. There were several dark-skinned individuals who became persons of interest for the police. (Izadi) Sunil Tripathi, a university student who was imbed dead was also suspected for the bombing. (Schroeder) As it turned out the actual bombers were Caucasian who appeared to be tied up with Islamic fundamentalists. (Izadi) Kasim Walters who is 17 and living in Brooklyn has been stopped seven times by the NYPD and has described his experience a s very scary. (Weir and Capote) These individuals were judged because of how they looked. These acts showed that just being a person of color makes an innocent person a suspect. This should not be so. Race or beliefs cannot be known just by looking at a person. The second requirement of racial profiling is that the person is reasonably suspicious. What is reasonably suspicious? Sunil Tripathis photo was flashed on television after a post on Reddit claimed he was the Boston bomber. (Daily) Immediately, police and concerned citizens were looking for Tripathi. Later on, when the real culprits were apprehended and Tripathis body was found, apologies flooded media. The damage has been done, however. The young mans reputation was already tarnished, the mystery surrounding his death aggravating the issue of mistaken identity. Racial profiling seems to say that when there are tribal tags on a persons car (Amnesty) or ones clothing is similar to those worn by individuals wanted by authoritie s it is (Goldstein) legal for police to stop the person to conduct a search. This is both inconvenient and humiliating. Finally, racial profiling should not be practiced because it gives rise to bias among law enforcement people and bruising behavior. Indeed police officers should be commended by putting their lives on the line to protect society. Nevertheless, it is not a secret that they can be violent or prejudiced at times. Reality TV programs such as COPS and Americas Most Wanted have given audience a glimpse on how the authorities handle the

Realism and Its Role in US War Against Iraq Essay Example for Free
Realism and Its Role in US War Against Iraq EssayPresence of biological warfare, inhumane leadership, anti-democracy these were the reasons which were proclaimed in the past explaining US war against Iraq. I believe that US spearheaded by then President Bush played Realists in their decision-making vis a vis the issue at hand. Tony Blair himself admitted few months after US won Iraq over their Head of State, Saddam Hussein, that there were no biological warfare proven to be under the bonds of the latters government. Moreover, most nations believe that despite Husseins dictatorial means, he was nonetheless feared hence was able to maintain peaceful coexistence between two Islamic yet conflicting groups- the Sunni and Shiite. As regards, the question of the absence of democratic government in Iraq, isnt the establishment and tolerateability of any government strung-out on its constituents/nationals?Who is the United States to take away the chance from Iraqs own people to deal wi th their own government and its leader should there be a question of legitimacy? Perhaps, guided by Realist perspective of International Relations, the following reasons are more truthful security, statism, and self-help. Military power according to Realism is a measure of political power relations among states alongside economic power. States are rational and unitary actors whose decisions are always based on a numeration of survival and national security. There is the absence of universal principles while the only guide of states in an anarchic set-up is pragmatic assessment of other states actions in solving problems. How then are these helpful in the analysis of US intentions toward Iraq? US seeking to maintain its global dominance would have to sustain military power. While Liberals and Idealists thought world peace could be attained and that no more wars shall ever exist, US apparently showed that war is still a solution and a means to furthering state gains.Oil is Iraqs sourc e of wealth and power. If that was the only missing link to US superiority, by all means, US would get hold of it. Oil promotes military and economic power. It also gives US security against threats from North Korea. Hence, for me, it was the desire of the Bush administration to retain hegemonic status- free from extraneous threats of every form that made US enter into a catastrophic war.

Hubspot Case Essay Example for Free
Hubspot Case EssayThe problem in this case is that Hubspot needed to make a transition from its initial start-up structure (organizational structure, cigarette customers and pricing strategy) in order grow, and the dilemma was how to best approach this change. Hubspot faced three main issues for this a) identify target customers, b) modify their pricing model and c) how to offend the growth strategy.Hubspot was good at building a community, e.g. over 300000 unique visitor in 2008, and thousands of freeware subscriptions in 2009. Nonetheless they had a diverse universe of customers, from secondary business owners (Ollies) to merchandising professionals (Marys), different type of business ranging B2B or B2C, and size (over or under 25 employees). Table C shows there was a effectiveness market evenly distri scarceed among B2B and B2C. For Hubsport, the decision to identify a target customer was difficult. This is seen when contrasting exhibits 6 where 73% of customers were Olli es and exhibit 5 which indicated that Marys accounted for 68% of new customers from Sep-Dec 2008. Although the B2B customers were definitive for Ollies and Marys, there was an interesting growth of Marys in B2C. Thus a segmentation of customer was required to better assess their different needs. At the end of 2008, Hubspotss ingatherings responded to the main two customers (Ollies and Marys), still its pricing model was similar for both, where Marys paid a slightly higher monthly amount as its parcel software program included more features (exhibit 7). This was something Hubspot needed to analyze as Ollie and Marys had various pros and cons as customers. Ollies represented a debase cost to acquire ($1000) and where quick to sign in, but hobocel subscription early, while Marys cost more to acquire ($5000) and took longer to sign in, by stayed for longer using the product. Assuming no churn rate an Ollie had to concord subscription for 2 months and Marys had to maintain subscrip tion for 9 months, to pay off their acquiring cost. The previousscenario meant that HubSpots 2008 projections including the 100 paying customers from 2007 made the current pricing model non viable to support the high cost of Marys (see accessory 1).Another issued faced was the Hubsport was still a small bon ton, seen in that it only had few engineers to build the software therefore it was hard to catch up with the sales team. Thus the product vs customer vs pricing situation presented an optimization and planning issue to keep the company growing. The previous two points require a growth strategy. At the same time it made the owners question their vision, i.e. to inbound or outbound. The strategy for growth had to get through which customer to target, how to roll-out the respective products, whether to keep it a SaaS, and the transition into a new pricing structure to maintain current customer and capture more cherish from new ones. The objective of our proposed solutions is to k eep Hubspot as the software-to-have for inbound merchandising and grow financially from a start-up to an established business. For this we set out the following actionsHubspots nuance and vision should be maintained. Web 2.0 is continuing evolving as more businesses are using the various channels and HubSpot can differentiate itself as the inbound marketing which weighs more than outbound marketing (inbound represents 37% marketing budget while outbound 30%). HubSpot has the expertise to create traffic and analyze and qualify leads pickax the respective demand of Ollies and Marys. At the same time we differentiate from our two main competitors by proving a press down price (Eloqua is more expensive) and focusing on inbound marketing (Marketo is a mix of inbound and outbound). Our conclusions are founded by overlaying HubSpots competitive field (exhibit 3) with customers needs a) traffic creation and b) leads analysis and qualifications, in line with HubSpots main strengths, as se en in appendix 2. Thus the company should not consider outbound as an alternative. As showed in appendix 4, our two segmented customers have showed different needs in terms of product features and consumption behavior. Based on the current churn out rate, we can estimate consumer lifetime value of Ollies is $4,750 and Marys $10,500 (see calculation in appendix 3). Therefore, according to our segmentation strategy, we propose following product bundles by differentiating product price and product features 1) Product pricingAs Ollies have a shorter customer life and less marketing budget, we suggest keeping current up-front fee and a write down monthly fee. As suggestion, up-front $500 and monthly fee in the range of $150 to $250. As Marys have a longer customer life and lower price sensitivity we suggest increasing both up-front and monthly fee. As suggestion up-front $600 and monthly fee in the range of $600 to $750. Meanwhile, Marys are interested in deeper analytics, we suggest add itional fee for each service of deeper analytics. As CMS system helps lower churn rate, we suggest initial fee of $300 covering 6 hours consulting to encourage both of them to use such service. 2) Product featuresAs Ollies prefer quick and simple solutions, we suggest tailor-made product focusing on generating leads. As Marys have a high demand of analytics, we suggest tailor-made product with more sophisticated tools to meet the needs of deeper analytics. As frequent log-in helps lower churn rate, we suggest to forget service update on a regular basis to encourage a continuous use of our service. After clearly identifying the segmentation of consumer and differentiation of products, we need ensure market-centered organizations that are capable of translating strategy into actions1) EngineeringTo invest on product development and innovation to continuously provide with relevant service to enhance our competitive advantage of generating leads as well as analytics. 2) Sales forceTo d ivide sales force to separately deal Maryer Ollies by providing Maryer with long-term, more sophisticated support, providing Ollies with quick simple service.3) MarketingTo continue make a buzz for inbound marketing to create inbound marketing community rather than a simple businessFinally the strategy has to be sensitive to our current customers, Appendix 5 indicates a tentative layout of the plan. starting time with the internal reorganization, then gradually change the product offering for consumers.
